Another Bump, Less Carnage......
After yesterday's row we knew we had an excellent chance of bumping LMBC II. Our race plan was kept the same; come out fast, settle high then push into them on every stroke.
Our start was good, winding again into the 50s before settling onto 44 after lengthening. By this stage we had gained a whistle on LMBC II and were pushing for two. A settle to 40 opened up the cover and increased our speed, each stroke taking distance out of the boat in front with Peterhouse well outside station behind. Two then three whistles came very quickly before a destroy call got us the overlap and contact on the exit of First Post Corner.
At this stage no one in the boat knew the bump had been awarded hence the Gut saw us continue to harass LMBC II's stern until we finally heard it was greenery all round on the entrance to Grassy.
A good row, the plan executed once again and another solid bump.
At this stage, we don't know who we'll be chasing tomorrow. We'll be ready for them.
