Before racing today, M2 all all knew in the back of their minds that our task was not going to be easy. Having seen CCAT go for the overbump on us on Tuesday we knew they were good. However on a a very windy day we knew anything could happen!

After an excellent start we very quickly got a whistle on St Edmunds. This lasted from just before First Post Corner to Grassy. However St Edmunds then bumped FaT 3 and so we knew all we could now do was row over. We held CCAT all the way past Ditton, with a great push at this point despite the wind from the reach. However they had slowly been gaining for a while, and they eventually caught us just a bit down the reach.

M2 have rowed much better than our results suggest: we have just been very unlucky in who's been chasing us.
